    At first listen wasn't feeling it, and had nothing to do with what football team it was written for, that didn't matter to me. I know am finding it is growing on me after another listen. i downloaded it, plan to put on my ipod soon. Well, i love all that Lenny does, hard for him to do wrong in my mind. Cannot wait for new album!

    it is very commerical! I love the vibe but I dislike the Jets so it's a tough call for me on this song.
    Watched the Miami Dolphins beat the Jets today (go 'phins!) and I did not hear Like a Jet play during the broadcast. Did anyone hear it during the game?

    I'm liking the tune. Hate the J.E.T.S. though. Make sure you download the tune for free on the Pepsi site OR you can purchase it on iTunes. Duh.....

    Lenny has proved that he can write anything from beautiful ballads to rollicking good rock'n'roll, with generous serves of funk, retro, catchy pop, anthemic classics and more...and...ORIGINALITY (hey, just look at Black Velveteen to name but one)...and...a MESSAGE from his soul. The strength of that message lies in its subtlety (look at any of Lenny's music videos). Like a Jet, although more commercial, fits into all of that perfectly because we can enjoy it just as a great song or embrace Lenny's love of sport and his home team (or both, of course!). And it's NEW....yaaaaaaaaaaaay!

    I have to say I do like it too.

    However I especially like the story behind it about Lenny and Broadway Joe-another living legend (for those who don't know that is the nickname for Joe Namath!).

    I also love the NBA tune, a super great great did I say great, track!! Powerful, emotive, and has a cool groove to it.

    This song has been in my head for days now...I like it much more now that football season is over and I don't have to associate it with the NY Jets. (Sorry to any Jets fans out there!)
